Follow along with me as I share many wonderful tales of my solo journeys to 45 countries over the last 25 years.
From the home I found in Cairo, Egypt where I lived for a year to traveling south through Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. I drove myself through Namibia and also South Africa – my own private safaris.
My passion for travel began in 1998 when I toured Europe for 10 weeks and ended up in the Middle East. On one trip, I spent time traveling via freighter from Europe to China. 72 days on board and 28 ports and a terrifying “almost” shipwreck.
